MEET THE HEART BEHIND SUNDAY SOMEWHERE

Hi! I’m Kaylee — the person behind Sunday Somewhere. After years of helping my dad manage and host at Epic Properties South, I felt called to create something of my own — a brand that carries that same hospitality, but with my own peaceful, coastal touch. Rooted in my faith and inspired by the coast, my hope is that each stay reminds you to slow down, breathe deeply, and find beauty in the present moment.

MY HEART BEHIND SUNDAY SOMEWHERE

Hi, I’m Kaylee — the heart behind Sunday Somewhere.

I’ve always been the type to wake up ready to go — moving fast, making lists, and filling every hour of the day. For a long time, I filled every moment to avoid the quiet. Stillness felt uncomfortable — it meant sitting with my own thoughts, something I often tried to outrun.

But lately, I’ve been learning to pause — to take quiet time in the mornings, to breathe, to practice gratitude, and to simply be. Those still moments have changed the way I see things. I’ve realized how powerful it is to be present — to actually notice what’s right in front of me. It’s not always easy; my mind still races and my thoughts still wander. But in that quiet, I find peace, clarity, and gratitude. My faith journey with God has shown me that peace doesn’t come from having everything figured out, but from trusting and being fully present where He’s placed you.

Sunday is a day of rest, reflection, and stillness. It’s the day the world feels softer, slower, and more at peace. I created Sunday Somewhere as a reminder that we can bring that same calm into every day — that every moment can hold the ease of a Sunday morning if we let it.

Sunday Somewhere grew from that journey — from learning that peace isn’t about doing less, but about being fully where you are. My hope is that these spaces invite you to do the same — to rest without rushing, to be present, and to return home from your vacation not just refreshed, but reconnected to yourself, the people you love, and the present moment.

With love,

Kaylee
